Short first post to explain why this site exists.

LinkedIn is for people who already know each other. GitHub is for code. Neither is a place where you can calmly put down a thousand-word thought and find it again a year later. That’s still what a personal blog is for.

What goes here

  • Notes from DevOps work: Kubernetes incidents, Proxmox builds, ArgoCD patterns that work or don’t.
  • ISO 27001 pieces I’ve rewritten for our own stack — the generic versions, not the client-specific ones.
  • Grant work: what an NLnet application actually asks for, and what it doesn’t.
  • Occasionally something about the homelab.

What doesn’t

  • Hot takes.
  • AI-generated content marketing.
  • Cross-posts from LinkedIn.
